- Applicable laws.
- Our contractual obligations to the platform.
- This Privacy Policy.
We use platform data only to provide, secure, maintain, personalize, and improve features consistent with the permissions granted and applicable platform requirements.
We do not request your social-media password.
Access tokens are treated as confidential credentials and are stored using reasonable security controls.
We may periodically refresh tokens where authorized. A connection may stop working when a token expires, you revoke permission, a platform changes its API, or the platform restricts the account or application.
11. Disconnecting a Social-Media Account
You may disconnect a supported account from Grow You Creator through the account-connection settings where available.
Disconnecting an account will generally:
- Stop future synchronization.
- Stop retrieval of new analytics.
- Prevent new scheduled publications.
- Remove or invalidate the connection credentials in our active systems.
- Begin deletion of platform data that is no longer needed.
Disconnecting does not:
- Delete your entire Grow You Creator account.
- Cancel your paid subscription.
- Delete content already published on the platform.
- Delete data stored directly by Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or another platform.
- Necessarily remove Grow You Creator from the third party’s connected-app page.
You should also revoke Grow You Creator through the applicable platform’s connected-app or security settings.
12. Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your Grow You Creator account from the account settings:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
You may also follow the instructions at:
https://legal-growyoucreatorepiphytegens.com/account-deletion
If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion by emailing support@epiphytegens.com from the email address associated with your account.
We may request information necessary to verify your identity and protect the account from unauthorized deletion.
What happens when you delete your account
Account deletion will:
- Close your Grow You Creator account.
- Remove access to the account.
- Cancel pending scheduled publications that have not already been transmitted.
- Disconnect linked Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other supported accounts.
- Delete stored access and refresh tokens from active systems.
- Delete or de-identify profile information.
- Delete or de-identify projects, content plans, analytics, imported account data, uploaded content, generated assets, and associated Service information from active systems.
- Stop future collection through connected accounts.
Deletion does not automatically:
- Cancel an app-store subscription when app-store rules require cancellation through the store.
- Delete posts already published to a social-media platform.
- Delete information stored directly by Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, payment processors, or other third parties.
- Remove Grow You Creator from every third-party connected-app interface.
You should separately revoke Grow You Creator through the applicable platform’s settings.
Deletion timing
We will begin processing a verified deletion request promptly.
Unless a shorter period is required by a social-media platform or applicable law:
- Access to the account will be disabled promptly.
- Social-media access tokens will be deleted or invalidated as soon as reasonably practicable.
- Personal information and User Content will ordinarily be deleted or de-identified from active production systems within 30 days.
- Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted through normal backup cycles.
Information may be retained longer when legally permitted or required.
13. Information We May Retain
After account deletion, we may retain limited information when necessary to:
- Comply with tax, accounting, financial-reporting, or legal obligations.

- Process chargebacks, refunds, or disputes.
- Detect and prevent fraud or security incidents.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Enforce agreements.
- Document privacy requests and consent.
- Comply with social-media platform obligations.
- Complete deletion from backup and disaster-recovery systems.
Financial and transactional records may be retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and corporate-record laws.
Records relevant to legal claims may be retained until the applicable limitation period expires.
Retained data will be isolated or access-restricted and will not be used for ordinary product functionality or marketing.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
14. Subscription Cancellation Is Not Account Deletion
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically delete your Grow You Creator account or information.
Deleting an account does not necessarily cancel a subscription billed by Apple, Google, or another app store. You may need to cancel that subscription through the applicable store.
15. Data Retention Generally
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including:
- While your account remains active.
- While needed to provide requested features.
- For the duration of a contractual relationship.
- For legally required tax, accounting, and business records.
- For applicable limitation periods.
- For security, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
- Until deletion from backups through standard cycles.
Retention periods depend on the nature of the information, the sensitivity of the information, legal obligations, platform requirements, and the purposes of processing.

Measures may include:

Grow You Creator is operated from the United States.
Information may be stored or processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your country.

22. Third-Party Links and Services
